Roadie Jungle

When I received my Instant Indie, I was so excited! Because I thought I was already more or less set on my what passions are, I wanted to go with the first option and try something new with my Instant Indie. When I stumbled across a website for a Swing Dance class in the area, I decided to give it a try—and that short experience in itself was absolutely amazing. 

I stepped out of my comfort zone to not only go out and do something I’ve never done before, but do it with people that I had never met before; each new step was a new lesson and every new face was a new friend. I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love so fast. I actually plan to continue to take classes when I get back from the Roadie Tour…and I don’t know that I’ll ever stop! The crazy thing is that I don’t think I would have found this new passion had it not been for the push that the Instant Indie gave me to really seize the moment and go out and do something new. 

A huge thank you to Roadtrip Nation for being that catalyst in helping me find another source of happiness in my life! Now that the Instant Indie has given me a taste of what it’s like to really be active in pursuing both things that I love and things that are new to me, I hope to continue to always be hungry in finding what really makes me happy.
